Preview: At a time when local authorities are beginning to be concerned over the suffering of fish, particularly in the context of recreational fishing, a group of public figures and scientists have signed an opinion article in Le Monde on April 3, 2021 organised by the Paris Animaux Zoopolis group. The signatories, including many members of the LFDA, are demanding a ban on live fishing as a practice that is cruel to fish.
