L’European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) publie trois avis sur les problèmes de bien-être liés à l’élevage des lapins.

The first examines the health and welfare of rabbits raised in different production systems.

The second investigates methods of stunning and slaughtering rabbits for human consumption.

The third deals with welfare problems associated with slaughtering for reasons other than meat production (e.g. disease control).
