This decree, which will come into force on 31 December 2021, amends the decree of 5 October 2011 establishing the list of medical or surgical acts performed on animals that certain persons who are not qualified veterinarians may perform. It authorises livestock farmers to employ "any veterinary medicine aimed at eliminating or reducing the pain associated with livestock management procedures", whereas the 2011 decree only authorised them to "apply any treatment, including parenteral, individual or collective treatments, for preventive or curative purposes". »
