Preview: FINARBED is an ambitious project set up and run by the Jean Hénaff Group as part of its Be Good 2030 strategy to reconcile product quality with respect for animals and life. Lasting 3 years (2019-2022), this collaborative project, which has been endorsed by the Valorial competitivity cluster, calls on the wide-ranging expertise of the Breton pork industry to find practical ways to end the castration of piglets. This painful practice is employed to avoid unpleasant tastes and odours in the meat.
