On Wednesday 26 May, the Senate is examining a bill on ethical farming. A few months previously, it was the National Assembly that was discussing a ban on cetaceans in dolphinariums as part of the debate on the Bill to combat animal abuse. Animal welfare has become a serious, political issue that is regularly debated by our parliamentarians.

Mathilde Gérard, a journalist with Planète and a specialist on the treatment of animals tells us in this episode of the podcast "L'Heure du Monde" how this topic is gradually establishing a place for itelf on the political agenda
