Preview: A decree published in the Journal Officiel on September 16 names veterinary colleague Hadrien Jaquet (Lyon 2015) as the advisor on "animal sectors, health and welfare" to Minister of Agriculture Marc Fesneau's cabinet.
Jacquet holds a certificate of advanced studies in veterinary public health (National School of Veterinary Services).
Having gained experience working in the DDPP [Departmental Directorate of Population Protection] of the Oise Prefecture, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture in March 2019. There he served as Deputy Head of the Office of Budget Synthesis, and then as Head of the Office of Quality, Performance and Service Oversight.
"In Spring 2022, he was responsible for coordinating the avian influenza crisis group at the Directorate General of Food," the Ministry of Agriculture's website states.
Hadrien Jaquet replaces colleague Urwana Querrec, who was promoted to Deputy Director of the cabinet from September 8 (read DV n° 1630 in French).
