Preview: Following the transmission of an investigation filmed in 2021 at the Bigard abattoir in Cuiseaux (Saône-et-Loire), where numerous infractions relating to the treatment of animals could be observed, L214 lodged a liability claim against the State. In a decision dated April 23, communicated to L214 on Thursday, the Dijon Administrative Court ordered the French government to pay €2,000 to L214 in compensation for the moral prejudice caused by the negligence of its veterinary services in failing to monitoring the abattoir.
