Preview : On May 15, you are invited to attend the One Welfare webinar: Rencontre entre ergonomie et éthologie.

Livestock farming is complex work that is sometimes approached from the farmer's perspective through on-farm work activities, and sometimes from the animal's viewpoint, by considering  its behaviors and their underlying biological, cognitive and emotional foundations. By bringing together Ergonomics and Ethology, we can adopt, on both theoretical and practical levels, a combined approach to the human-animal-work relationship.
Xavier Boivin, an ethologist at INRAE, and Joffrey Beaujouan and Damien Cromer, both ergonomists at the University of Clermont Auvergne, have co-authored of a scientific article on this subject, and propose to explore it in their webinar on May 15th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Discussion based on a presentation of key elements of their recent publication will allow participants to question the concept of One Welfare more widely.
