Presentation : This train-the-trainer course enables participants to obtain the "animal welfare training (AWT)" certification required by Vivéa and OCAPIAT to train animal welfare advisors on livestock farms. Under the terms of Decree 2020-1625, each farm must have an animal welfare advisor. For poultry and pig farms, this welfare advisor is required to follow a training course. However, for beef and dairy farms, training is not compulsory for animal welfare advisors, but is instead voluntary.
