Présentation en français (traduction) : Le bien-être animal au cœur de la chaîne alimentaire européenne
Après quatre années de recherche, le projet ClearFarm entre dans sa phase finale à un moment clé pour l’élevage sur le continent, au milieu d’une mobilisation de différents secteurs sociaux et économiques en faveur d’une révision de la législation européenne actuelle sur le bien-être animal. Convaincus de la nécessité de placer le bien-être animal et la durabilité au cœur des politiques réglementant la production d’aliments d’origine animale destinés à la consommation humaine, nous organisons un événement qui, outre la présentation des résultats de notre projet, réunira des acteurs clés de différents domaines partout en Europe pour réfléchir à l’utilisation des nouvelles technologies afin d’améliorer le bien-être animal dans l’ensemble de la chaîne alimentaire.

Présentation en anglais (original) : After four years of research, the ClearFarm project is entering its final phase at a key moment for livestock production on the continent, in the midst of a mobilisation of different social and economic sectors in favour of a revision of the current European legislation on animal welfare.
Conviced of the need to put animal welfare and sustainability at the heart of policies regulating the production of food of animal-based food for human consumption, we are organising an event which, in addition to presenting the results of our project, will bring together key players from different fields across Europe to reflect on the use of new technologies to improve animal welfare throughout the food chain.
