Preview: After four years of research, the ClearFarm project is entering its final phase at a key moment for livestock production on the continent, in the midst of a mobilisation of different social and economic sectors in favour of a revision of the current European legislation on animal welfare.
Conviced of the need to put animal welfare and sustainability at the heart of policies regulating the production of food of animal-based food for human consumption, we are organizing an event which, in addition to presenting the results of our project, will bring together key players from different fields across Europe to reflect on the use of new technologies to improve animal welfare throughout the food chain.
