The issue of animal welfare in the city must take into account the specific features of each urban area, while the role of local government and the way in which public policy on animal welfare is implemented is not insignificant. The dissertation proposes concrete actions to implement a public policy in favor of animal welfare tailored to the city of Lyon.

ChickenTrack 2022 European report

Report on the progress made by companies signed up to the Better Chicken Commitment (BCC) approach, in particular that of the 120 French  businesses involved, 21 of which participated in ChickenTrack. At European level, numbers reporting publicly on their progress are highest for French companies. Almost all French retailers are now committed to the BCC for 100% of fresh and frozen chicken and processed products containing over 50% chicken sold under their own brands.

Equine Social Behaviour: Love, War and Tolerance

The authors recommend placing greater emphasis on affiliative and ambivalent interactions and indifference when assessing the social behavior of horses.

Review: Connecting circularity to animal welfare calls for a 'novel' conceptual framework based on integrity

Scientific review proposing a new conceptual framework it calls the circular welfare economy (CWE), intended to facilitate the transition to sustainable agriculture. The CWE applies the notion of circularity to welfare, defined as the quality of life as it is perceived by the individual animal itself. It also considers human integrity, defined as openness and honesty, to be a prerequisite for sustainability.
